Dystopia

This piece consists of five unique pharmacy jars, created in 2016 in collaboration with master ceramicists from Talavera de la Reina. The artist highlights the absurdity of branding natural resources with medicinal properties, a practice commonly exploited by pharmaceutical companies. By combining the traditional shape of an apothecary jar with contemporary pharmaceutical branding, the work evokes a striking visual dystopia.
