Bio
Jean-Philippe Illanes. Paris, France.
Designer and visual artist.
With over 15 years of experience as a visual artist, I've collaborated with renowned brands like Ernst & Young, LVMH, Cartier, Adidas, and Disney. Beginning in painting, my journey naturally evolved into illustration, sparking my curiosity in design and visual communication.
Driven by a passion for creativity and a desire to share it, I embraced an academic career as an associated lecturer in art and design in higher education at LCCA (London College of Contemporary Arts) for nearly five years. There, I contributed to Graphic Design curriculums, designed content, and shaped tasks to empower students.
Despite the rewarding challenges of academia, my passion for creativity led me back to a full-time creative career. Engaging in freelance projects for various clients, including Oroñoz Studio, UCHI restaurant, Coach Harsha Perera’s book "Machine Ego," , and the startup Everymind at Work.
My professional journey revolves around the intersection of art and design, honing a diverse skill set in illustration, digital and editorial design, layout, and presentations. Each project is a testament to the seamless fusion of creativity and design expertise.
